L'Orgue de Morgan

Voici donc l’Orgue de Morgan, le dieu régissant la mort sur Esmera (représenté avec sa faux sur les deux grands buffets latéraux), dont la musique lui servait à se distraire mais aussi à tourmenter les âmes des morts dont il avait la charge afin de les faire souffrir pour l’éternité. On raconte que sa musique est parfois si triste qu’elle peut pousser un vivant à renoncer à vivre, et que le souffle sortant des tuyaux est si puissant qu’il peut repousser les attaques de jet, voire tuer! Même l’œil central est capable de foudroyer quiconque tentera de menacer l’instrument démoniaque. C’est sans doute pour cette raison qu’Ellyon fit installer l’infernale relique à Pendemonia où elle constitue un pilier majeur de la défense de la cité sous-terraine. Car l’orgue peut-être autonome et sentir les vibrations ennemies en approche. Il entonne alors un puissant concerto dont l’onde de choc provoque des éboulements dans toutes les profondeurs infernales pour écraser les intrus tout en signalant l’invasion. C’est d’ailleurs, selon certains écrits, ce qui aurait alerté Morgan de l’intrusion de Saël [link] et ses acolytes alors que ces derniers tentaient de lui dérober les cristaux sacrés (notamment l’Aegis, le plus puissant de tous). L’orgue se serait, en effet, mis à jouer tout seul, alors que les divinités s’approchaient du coffret contenant les joyaux.

Here is thus Morgan's Organ, god governing the death on Esmera (represented with his scythe on two big side columns), as which the music was of use to him to amuse but also to torment the souls of the deaths the load of which he had to make them suffer for all eternity. We tell that its music is sometimes so sad as she can urge an alive to give up living, and that breath taking out pipes is so powerful as he can push away the launch attacks, even kill! Even the central eye is able of burning whoever will try to threaten the demonic instrument. It is doubtless for that reason that Ellyon made install the infernal relic to Pendemonia where she constitutes a major protection of the underground city. Because the organ can be autonomous and feel the enemy vibrations in approach. It intones then a powerful concerto the shock wave of which provokes collapses in all the infernal depths to crush the intruders while indicating the invasion. It is moreover, according to certain stories, what what would have alerted Morgan of the intervention of Saël [link] and his accomplices while these last ones tried to steal him crowned crystals (in particular Aegis, the most powerful of all). The organ would have, indeed, begun playing alone, while the divinities approached the chest containing jewels.
